EYC Gets Some Serious Recognition

EYC are immensely proud to have been nominated for a host of different awards this summer as our hard work begins to make waves across the gaming and non-profit sectors.

It started off with a nomination for the Creative & Digital Industries award at the NatWest SE100 awards. We're super proud to be nominated for such a prestigious accolade and we were also shortlisted amongst the top 100 Social Enterprises in the UK, all the more special when you realise there's more than 130,000 in total!!

"a clear mission and entrepreneurial flair... as well as great promise for the future" - NatWest SE100 Creative & Digital Industries Award

Next, we had a nomination for BeLambeth's Creative and Digital Industries Award. With Lambeth being our spiritual home, we were delighted to receive this as recognition for our continued hard work in the local area and we're proud to be alongside some of our partner organisations in the list of nominees. Thanks to everyone that gave us a nomination!

Finally, the UK Social Enterprise Awards where we were not only nominated for the Community Based Social Enterprise award but also the One to Watch award. Receiving one nomination would have been an incredible achievement, but to be recognised for both categories was beyond our expectations.

"an ability to clearly articulate their future vision and how they are going to achieve it" - Social Enterprise UK One to Watch award

The nominations are undoubtedly due to the hard work of all our staff, who make our sessions so innovative and exciting for young people. It's vindication for the past few years and shows that the industry is really beginning to take note of our innovative model and our consistent delivery. Rest assured, we won't rest on our laurels, we've got big plans to continue growing and will maintain the focus on engaging as many young people with our sessions as possible.
